Precision CNC cut, EVA foam insert designed to hold a 4kg gas cylinder, these inserts also fit a variety of other size gas bottles. The gas cylinder sits upright in the foam insert on top of the roof rack and is tied down using 4 eye bolts (sold separately). Our foam inserts have been designed to suit the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform, however, they will also mount to a standard mesh roof rack as well.

This kit consists of 1 x CNC cut EVA foam insert. Designed to mount a 4kg gas cylinder safely and rattle free to a Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform. Our foam inserts may be compatible with other roof racks, please be sure to cross reference the dimensions listed below.
R&D: Our EVA gas cylinder inserts have had extensive testing in all types of terrain from daily city commuting and beach trips to touring across the desert in the hot Australian Outback. Our first roof rack foam insert mounted in 2018 still shows no signs of wear or damage. We designed them specifically to stop the annoying rattling and scratches to our roof rack that we have experienced with other types of mounts/brackets.
To check the compatibility with various gas cylinders and roof racks, please check base ring dimensions on your gas cylinder. Our insert will fit a base ring diameter of 224mm.
